Officer Nominations

The following Web Form must be used by anyone wishing to self-nominate themselves for an Executive Officer or Committee Chair position for the calendar year term of 2009!

Nominations are ongoing, and candidates are appointed by the Executive Officers of the Chapter.

All potential officers must be National Members of AMSA, and will not remain nominated unless they are National Members or in the process of joining online at www.amsa.org.

Officers and General Responsibilities

Chapter Officer Structure

Individuals may only hold two positions maximum, with the options of:

One (1) Executive Officer position and one (1) Committee Chair
Or
Two (2) Committee Chairs simultaneously

Executive Officers must serve for the full duration of their yearly term.
There is a maximum of four Committee Chairs per committee, with up to two of those Chair positions available to graduating Seniors.

New Committee ideas may be found at www.amsa.org under the Action Committees or Interest Groups. Committees which replicate the existing committees available in AMSA will have a better prospect of being established within the chapter, and more resources available to carry out the duties of the Committee Chairs.

We are always open to new suggestions and greatly appreciate all new ideas that may benefit our chapter.
